Current flood management schemes
Flood alleviation and drainage infrastructure schemes currently being undertaken are as follows:-
- Banbridge, Belmont Stream – construction of culvert and open channel works
- Bellaghy, Old Town Drain Extension – replacement of existing defective culvert
- Enniskillen, Portora Sluice Gates – refurbishment of existing
- Lower Bann Gate Motorisation – installation of electric motors to drive sluice gate lifting mechanisms
- Moneymore, Moneyhaw River Flood Alleviation Scheme – construction of flood walls
- Portrush, Tar Burn – upgrading of culverts
- Remedial Works 1 – small scale remedial works to repair culverts
- Stoneyford, Stonebridge Meadows – construction of culvert and flood bank
