Rivers Agency co-operates with Department of Regional Development, Roads Service to engender a co-ordinated approach to dealing with flood emergencies across Northern Ireland.
Roads Service has a different contact number for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western areas of the Province.
Each area is responsible for a varying number of District Councils, therefore you should contact the area responsible for the District Council in which you consider the flooding has occurred.
- Northern area (contact number 7035 3202) is responsible for Antrim, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Larne, Limavady, Londonderry and Moyle.
- Southern area (contact number 3752 9500) is responsible for Ards, Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Downpatrick and Newry & Mourne.
- Eastern area (contact number 9025 3000) is responsible for Belfast, Carrickfergus, Castlereagh, Lisburn, Newtownabbey and North Down.
- Western area (contact number 8224 1999) is responsible for Cookstown, Dungannon, Fermanagh, Magherafelt, Omagh and Strabane.
