European Water Framework Directive
The European Water Framework Directive (WFD) is environmental legislation that is all embracing, complex and far reaching. It relates to all water bodies, rivers, lakes estuaries, costal waters and ground waters. The Agency’s business, and how it is conducted, will be significantly affected by the requirements of the Directive.
