River enhancement
River enhancement is defined as any physical measure which contributes to an increase in environmental value of a river corridor. Some examples of small scale river enhancements undertaken by the Agency in recent years in partnership with other organisations are:
- Ballysally Blagh, Coleraine;
- Ballymurphy Stream, Belfast;
- Tall River, Co. Armagh.
